Green Thumb Garden Centre has a new location

Our eighteenth season brings big changes – and our newsletter is going out very early this year. (You’ll also receive a postcard later, confirming our opening date for 2006.) We wanted to assure you that even with a new location, we are very much still in business and are keen to help you with your gardening needs.

Our new address is: 17 Tristan Court, still in (old) Nepean – just under 4 kms away from our old locale….we’re southeast of the intersection of Merivale and Hunt Club. Our phone and fax numbers remain the same – as do our email and website – all listed above.

As is always the case, there are bumps along the way. The vacant lot that we purchased is fenced in – it’s about ½ an acre. We moved our remaining stock to Tristan before the end of last year. (Thanks to all who participated in our moving sale.) We are still waiting for the city to approve our site plan and building. If we have to open up with a temporary shelter—a construction trailer of sorts—that’s what we’ll do.
